Court Rules and Care

  • Registration - All players, whether member or guest, must register (sign in) in the Tennis Professional Shop. Players not signed in can be bumped by other registered waiting players.
  • Regulation tennis shoes must be worn on the courts at all times. All adult males and junior males must wear a collared or tennis approved shirt (no t-shirts or sleeveless shirts allowed) along with appropriate shorts. All women and junior women must wear appropriate tennis attire.
  • Smoking and eating on the court are prohibited. Any non-alcoholic drinks brought on the court must be in a spill proof container.
  • Children not playing tennis must remain outside the fenced playing area.
  • The courts shall not be used for any activity other than tennis.
  • Players and spectators shall conform to proper tennis etiquette at all times.

Guests

  • A guest may use the courts only when accompanied by a member. A guest (whether of the same or different members) may play no more than three times in any calendar month.
  • It is the responsibility of the member to insure the guest is registered and paid for when the Professional Shop is closed.
  • Guest Fees - Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays. Adult Guest Fee $10.00, Junior Guest Fee - $5.00, Family Guest Fee $5.00
  • Guests are not eligible for play in any Club Championship.
  • Guests may participate in certain authorized club events (such as Member/Guests). In other club tennis events involving advance sign-up, guests may participate only when authorized by the Tennis Professional, Event Director, or Tennis Committee Chairman. Participation by an authorized guest requires a guest fee and will be limited to "space available" after the cut-off date for signing-up has been reached.

Rules

  • Reservations can be made up to 1 week in advance.
  • All players must sign in at the Tennis Shop before playing.
  • Non-Members are allowed to play 3 times in one month.
  • Court time can be reserved in half-hour increments, up to a maximum of two hours.

Drop-Outs for Contracted Court Time

If a player drops out during the season, it is that player's responsibility to find a suitable replacementto fitthe tennis playing ability of the group. The new player must be registered at the Pro Shop, along with the effective date of joining the group. Both the new player and the former player must confirm this transaction with the Pro Shop in writing. If this procedure is followed, billing will be adjusted accordingly. This rule pertains to any drop-out for any reason, with the exception of resignation from the Club.

Court Courtesy

  • Players may enter a court to take possession only after the current court time has expired, and the point in progress has been completed.
  • Players may pass through courts in use only when invited to do so. Where necessary, alert the playing players that you are waiting to pass through and use the most direct route.
  • Return errant balls promptly but not while a point is in progress.
  • Do not distract neighboring players with loud talk or noises.
  • Close gates upon entering and leaving the courts.
  • Turn out lights when you are the last to leave the courts.
