Junior Tennis

At River Bend, being a club member means involving the whole family.

The Professional Staff wants to welcome all juniors to participate in our tennis program here at River Bend Golf and Country Club. Jeff English, Sean O'Neil, and Gary Lyst, bring a wealth of knowledge to better your tennis game! There are a variety of options to choose from in our Junior Tennis Program. We offer clinics and private lessons, match play, and special events.

What is the Junior Team and how can I participate?

In order to participate on River Bend’s Junior Team, juniors must be 9-16 years old and able to serve and keep score.

The team consists of four age levels: 10s, 12s, 14s & 16s.

Practices

The first practice will be as follows:

• 10’s and 12’s – Tuesday, June 19th – 12:30 – 2pm - thru July 24th
• 14’s and 16’s - Thursday, June 21st - 12:30 - 2pm - thru July 24th

Matches

The first match is on Friday, June 22nd. Matches will be played on Wednesday & Friday mornings and most matches will start at 9:30am. 10s & 12s will play at one club and 14s & 16s will play at the other club. Team matches will consist of (3) three singles matches and (2) two doubles. The matches run from Friday, June 19th – Wednesday, July 25th (8 matches).

Price

The cost is $200 to be a member of the Junior Team. This includes practices, matches, a team shirt, trophies, and more!
