Sinikka grew up in the suburbs of Helsinki, Finland, where she learned to appreciate and love traveling, different cultures and people at a very young age. After studying marketing, business and Russian language at the Helsinki University, she was fortunate to get a job at the American Embassy in Moscow and knew then that her destiny would be in the United States! Finnair Airlines made her dreams come true by giving her a challenging marketing position in Chicago. Little did she know that she would meet her soul mate there and end up owning and operating her own Equestrian Center in Michigan.
Four years ago the English family moved to Virginia and became part of the River Bend Team. Sinikka's love of people and service has made her current job the most favorite of them all. She enjoys all that the East Coast has to offer; horses, fishing and hiking, relaxing Sunday afternoons at the vineyards, and all the wonderful friends she is blessed to have.
